Rotary in the Community – the evidence

The Rotary Club of Bolsover celebrated the work of those charities and community groups who have been recipients of Rotary grants in the last year.

Rotary President Chris Toyne congratulated all those present for their hard work and said he “hoped the money donated assisted them in achieving their aims.”

The Club has supported organisations ranging from Gambia Schools, Aquabox to Macmillans Cancer Care And the Club’s many grants also reach more local organisations such as Bolsover Gala, the Freedom Project, and numerous local schools. President Chris went on to assure all community groups that “the Rotary Club will continue with its commitment to them and thanked the major supermarkets for allowing the Club’s Santa’s Sleigh to pay a visit at Christmas to help with the all important money raising activities”.
